Utah Commercial & Fine Art Photographer- BYU Concert Choir

Recently I’ve been working as the BYU Concert Choir photographer. It’s been amazing to be working with people who want me to use the fine art side of my training! It has been like being back at school which has been super super amazing! If any of you want a shoot that is more art based I’m definitely interested in being your photographer!

If you follow #briannanicholephotography on Twitter or Instagram you may have noticed me posting stuff about my “Big, Cheap, and Public” project over the last few weeks.
Basically, I printed something ridiculously big, on cheap paper, and display it in public. My image was 10 feet by 10 feet. It was…. a unique experience. I don’t really recommend printing that big if you don’t have a spare 24 hours of working time. But, I learned a lot by it and I think it turned out really cool, actually.

A quick shot of it in it’s place, and me next to it.

As of Lately

I’m getting ready for my Senior BFA Photography show.

Which basically means I’m ridiculously busy researching, shooting, editing, printing, framing, matting, and sometimes sleeping.

But, also I have been working in the color darkroom! It’s one of my favorite things. Here are a few pictures I took with my iPhone of the process.
